In commemoration of its first anniversary, Fundación Aleatica promotes CSOs through the delivery of the “Road Safety We Are All” Award, an initiative aimed at highlighting and supporting the hard work of civil society organizations committed to improving road safety. in Mexico. In that period, one in every 100 of these traffic events resulted in human losses, while injuries were reported in 18% of cases. These were the winners in their corresponding categories: Safe Infrastructure Category : The organization Da Tartuk Impacto Social won the award for its innovative project, focused on improving road infrastructure and guaranteeing universal accessibility for people with disabilities in the metropolitan area of Guadalajara, Jalisco. Safe Mobility Users Category : In this category, two organizations were recognized. Cinco Loaves and Two Fishes presented a training program for volunteers, aimed at reducing fatalities caused by traffic events, medical emergencies and natural disasters in municipalities of the Sierra Norte de Puebla.
